In case of managing labor relations in the public sector, there are more responsibilities for public firms to undertake and fulfil. This is because there is the presence of the responsibility of managing relations with unions representing the organization’s workers. There is also the responsibility of managing relations with public employers by firms (Ashikali et al., 2020). This is because there can always be collective bargaining agreements proposed by members of labor unions of public firms to public employers for acceptance by public employers. Such agreements have to be negotiated by public firms (Ashikali et al., 2020).
